I checked the sale section a few different times, but there really wasn’t much there that felt like an actual discount. I also tried a couple of coupons I found, and none of them worked, so I eventually just gave up. Has anyone else run into the same thing?

The site does what it’s supposed to, but getting around can feel kind of clunky at times. I also got the vibe that some of the wording or prompts were talking down to me a little, which made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be...

The staff really seemed to know their stuff when it came to goalie pads and helped me figure out the right size. It did take a little while to hear back, but I was probably overthinking the whole thing anyway, so it wasn’t a huge deal.

I ordered some goalie gear knowing it was on backorder, so I expected a bit of a delay. The disappointing part was that the updates were slow, and I ended up having to reach out myself to find out what was going on. That said, once it finally shipped, everything showed up in good shape and the order was correct. I’m happy with the gear, I just wish the timeline had been communicated more clearly from the beginning

I had a good experience with the shop overall, everything was fine, but the shipping cost felt a bit high to me.

Had to send it back. i expected a whole hassle. Forms, waiting, back and forth. But no. Super simple return, painless from start to finish.

My order was ready when I got there, so that part was fine, but I still ended up waiting around longer than I expected. Maybe I caught them at a busy time, but it definitely felt like the pickup process could’ve been a bit quicker.

The order did get here on time, so that was fine, but the goalie pads had a few scuffs on them and the box was beat up too. Nothing was actually broken and I can still use them, but yeah, for what they cost, I kinda expected them to show up looking a bit cleaner. Not the worst thing ever, just a little disappointing.

The pads fit well, but the gloves were smaller than I expected based on the size listed...

I had to swap out some goalie pads for a different size, and the process was easy to figure out on the site. Like, they explained the steps well enough, so I wasn’t totally lost or anything. I just wasn’t thrilled that I had to cover the return shipping, and then it took longer than I was expecting.
Customer service did get back to me when I emailed, but yeah, it wasn’t super quick. In the end I got the right size and everything worked out, so I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience. Just kinda more of a hassle than I thought it’d be.

I’ve always been loyal to my usual goalie gear brand, so I wasn’t expecting to like these as much as I do. But after using them for a bit, the pads feel really solid, break in nicely, and have held up great so far. Kind of annoying because now I’m questioning my loyalty, but I’m impressed

I was surprised by how much goalie gear they had. There were way more pads and sticks than I’ve seen on other hockey sites, which made it really fun to browse. Super happy I found this place!

I ordered custom goalie pads and was a bit nervous about how the colors and sizing would come out. But everything showed up exactly the way I picked it, no missing details or random mix-ups. Shipping was pretty much what I expected too. What more can you ask for?? I’m really happy with it and would definitely order custom gear from GoalieMonkey again.

I requested a refund and expected it to take a while, like it usually does with most places. But it came through quickly, which was a nice surprise. Can’t complain when the process is simple and the money gets back to you without a hassle.

Checkout crashed right after I hit pay, and somehow my card was charged twice. The order never appeared in my account, and getting the refund sorted took way longer than it should have. Reading between the lines, it just didn’t feel like they had a handle on what happened. I won’t be using this site again.

I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to find the goalie pad size I needed, since a few other shops were completely out. Thankfully, they had it in stock, which was a relief. A couple of the colors were sold out, but overall the selection still felt better than most places I checked. Shipping was normal and everything went fine, so I’d feel comfortable ordering again. 4 stars.

i mean, I ordered some goalie pads and they showed up right when they were supposed to. The tracking updated like it should, and the box arrived in good shape. It wasn’t the fastest delivery I’ve ever had, but there weren’t any real issues. I’d use them again for gear.

I had the stitching start coming loose on my goalie pads after only a few weeks, so I reached out to Goalie Monkey about the warranty. i was mainly focused on whether it would actually get fixed or replaced, so I didn’t pay much attention to anything else on the site or in the emails.

Their support team did get back to me and helped start the claim with the brand, which I appreciated. The only downside was that there were a couple days between replies sometimes, and I kept checking mostly for the one update I cared about, so that part felt a little slow.
In the end, everything was handled and I got a replacement, so I’m happy with how it turned out. I’d use them again for sure, I just wish the updates came a bit quicker

My first impression was that the prices were kind of hit or miss. A few things seemed fair, but other items felt a little overpriced to me. I wouldn’t rule out buying from here again, but I’d definitely compare prices elsewhere first.
